PLUMBING EXAMS CAN NOT BE TAKEN ONLINE
NH Gasfitters Online is approved as a testing agency for the following exams:
The NH Journeyman Plumbing Exam shall consist of no less than 100 questions with a maximum three (3) hour time limit. The passing grade shall be 70% or higher. Questions shall consist of true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blank, or a series of each.
The NH Master Plumbing Exam shall consist of no less than 100 questions with a maximum
three (3) hour time limit. The passing grade shall be 75% or higher for each Master Plumbing Exam. Questions shall consist of true or false, multiple choice, fill in the blank, or a series of each.
Requirements to take the Master or Journeyman Plumbing Exam

Also note that if you are a no-show or call for your confirmed scheduled exam date and you decide to re-schedule in the future you will be required to call us and pre-pay before we will schedule a future exam.

- NH School of Mechanical Trades 109 Towle Farm Rd, Hampton, NH
- The Plumbing Exam will be based on the 2018 IPC
- All Exams are held Monday thru Friday at 10 AM
- Weekends are not available
- (date chosen subject to availability)
- Proof of positive identification form a government issued and approved ID
- A Calculator that is not part of a cell phone
- You will be given a 2018 IPC code book to use during the exam and 2 pieces of paper along with a binder with all of the reference codes
- Personal code books or notebooks will not be allowed
- Cell Phones will not be allowed
- You will be required to return the code book, binder with all of the reference codes and all scrap paper used during the exam
- The fee is $100.00 for the Journeyman Plumbers exam (exam fee does not include the license fee)
- The fee is $100.00 for the Masters Plumber exam (exam fee does not include the license fee)

- ALL plumbing exam candidates will no longer submit any paperwork or fees to the Mechanical Safety & Licensing Board prior to taking their exams.
Also note that if you are a no-show or call for your confirmed scheduled exam date and you decide to re-schedule in the future you will be required to call us and pre-pay before we will schedule a future exam.
